Welcome to the website for Scottish illustrator and painter Ailsa Black. Based in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland, Ailsa specialises in cartoons, drawings and paintings. Her work is inspired by the interaction of landscape, animals, people and bird life which surround her and expresses a whimsical outlook on life.
I am currently exhibiting with Red Rag Gallery, Stow-on-the-Wold. In May 2010 I am taking part in the Spring Fling open studios. [see links page for website details]
